Teenager devastated by cancer diagnosis ended his own life on railway line
The body of David Gingell, 17, was found near Bracon Ash, having been struck by a train.
Norfolk Coroner’s Court heard his death followed a long history of mental health difficulties which worsened after his cancer diagnosis in early 2024.

Area coroner Johanna Thompson recorded a conclusion of suicide.
David’s mother, Valentina Patricia Hill, told the hearing her son’s life had become dominated by the effects of treatment, ongoing anxiety and fears his "rare and aggressive" illness would return.
Following surgery, chemotherapy and proton beam therapy for a rare sarcoma, David suffered chronic insomnia and nausea linked to medication.
Although later scans showed no evidence of disease, he struggled knowing his cancer would eventually come back.
Ms Hill said confusion surrounding medical information and discussions about his prognosis being "terminal" contributed to his fears.
The court heard David had struggled with mental health problems since childhood following the sudden death of his father Simon to a heart attack when he was just three years........
