Brian Parry, of Northfield Gardens, Wymondham, died at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital on January 15, 2026.

Nine days earlier he was found collapsed behind his front door by concerned relatives.

An inquest at Norfolk Coroner's Court heard he had waited three hours for an ambulance to be dispatched after being discovered by family.

Area Coroner Yvonne Blake heard a post-mortem examination concluded Mr Parry died from pneumonia, secondary to an unwitnessed fall with a prolonged “long lie”.
