Investigation into woman’s death linked to extreme vitamin deficiency
A pre-inquest review hearing at Norfolk Coroner’s Court heard concerns have been raised by the family of Angela June Willgoss over the care she received at the James Paget University Hospital before her death on November 28, 2025.
Mrs Willgoss, 66, of John Street, Lowestoft, died after being admitted to hospital on November 5.

Area coroner Maeve Sykes said the medical cause of death had been given as cardiac arrest linked to vitamin deficiency.
It was also noted that she had several other underlying health conditions, including a severe vitamin D deficiency.
