Aaron Philips began weeping briefly as he was giving evidence about the night his colleague Ben Poole is said to have groped two women and a man on the dancefloor.

Poole, who gave no fixed address to the court, was based at Great Yarmouth police station at the time but was suspended from duty in 2023 when the allegations first came to light.

The 25-year-old had been on a night out in Norwich on October 1, 2022,........
