Questions raised over bid to turn old Debenhams into massive soft play centre
Nick Taylor, Reform UK chairman for Norwich, said the scheme for the former Debenhams site doesn’t seem viable and might not be profitable.
Under the proposals the 1950s building in Orford Street will be transformed into a Fun Parx family entertainment park.
The centres typically feature inflatable obstacle courses, soft play structures, slides and retro video game arcades.

Fun Parx took over the site after Orford House Developments’ proposal to demolish the building and create hundreds of student flats fell through.
But many are sceptical of the new use for the city centre landmark.
Mr Taylor said: "First of all I am on record as saying the student accommodation did not fly.
"I suppose I am opposed to it being demolished because of the disruption.
