Roundabout closing for works costing £250,000
Chartwell Road roundabout in Norwich will close for eight nights for resurfacing work, starting on March 18.
The worn-out surface will be replaced and new road markings will be added, aiming to complete the work by March 26.
Chartwell Road and Constitution Hill, will be shut from 7pm to 6am during this time.
Traffic from the closed areas of Chartwell Road will be redirected via the A140, the Broadland Northway and Wroxham Road.
Constitution Hill closures will see traffic diverted through North Walsham Road, the Broadland Northway, Wroxham Road and Sprowston Road.
Bus services will not stop at Parkland Road or Constitution Hill during the works.
These improvements will be carried out by Norfolk County Council's Infrastructure Department and its contractors.
Vehicle access to properties might also be restricted during the construction, and officials urge those with special requirements to converse with the on-site team.
This is after similar works on the roundabout, which closed it and Constitution Hill for five days in February.
