The artefact, originating from Peru and believed to be from the Huari, or Wari, civilisation, is being sold by Hansons in Roughton, near Cromer, on October 17.

Measuring 30.5cm high by 22.9cm wide, the mask features chequerboard teeth, dark hair -some of it human - and intricate feather........
