Great Yarmouth has been spotlighted for its cheap hotel stays and entertainment by The Sun.

The Dolphin Hotel, which is just minutes from the beach, is just one place mentioned by writers for its very affordable prices, with a family of four being able to stay overnight for just £86.

Close by is Joyland, which was opened in the easter of 1949, and has been featured for its cheap rides.

The rides at the theme park are aimed at younger children, including the snail ride, with ride tokens costing £3.

Visitors are also encouraged to head to the beach, which is lined with plenty of places to eat and drink, such as Grelly's Fish and Chip Shop, where a sausage roll and chips can be bought for £3.60.

Other attractions along the seafront include the pier with its arcade, live entertainment and places to eat.

The Pleasure Beach theme park offers a larger range of rides for all the family.
