Immerse Safety, a health and safety consultancy based in Gorleston, was founded in 2024 by Carly Hughes and has since grown from a home-based start-up to a team of three.

The all-female team moved into their new office at the Beacon Innovation Centre in Beacon Park last Monday.

"It’s exciting to celebrate the business’ second birthday and to move into our first physical office,” Ms Hughes said.

"Since launching in March 2024, the business has been operating from my home, so to now be moving into a physical office space, with my lovely colleagues, is incredible."

The company previously operated as a virtual tenant at the Beacon Innovation Centre before securing its own dedicated office space.

The business has grown rapidly and more than tripled its turnover in the past year.

It recently began supporting major infrastructure projects, including Sizewell C and the Hornsea 3 offshore wind farm, through its services to the renewable energy sector.

Immerse Safety has also scooped several awards, including winning Construction & Building Services StartUp of the Year at the UK Start Up Awards and the One to Watch prize at the EEEGR Awards.
