The leak, on Birchham Road in Reepham, has been leaking since July 3 and is now pouring out from a wall and onto the road.  

Councillor Dave Thomas said he contacted Anglian Water about the leak yesterday evening (Tuesday).  

“I hope they attend this today, as it is another example of wasted water,” he said.  

The continual concern comes during a hosepipe ban and a period of dry, hot weather.

Mr Thomas said he accepts that repair works require permits but the process should be made easier when substantial leaks are involved.
