This comes months after planners refused a separate bid for year-round stays over safety and environmental concerns at the Bacton site.

North Norfolk District Council has granted a Certificate of Lawful Use or Development for Castaways Holiday Park on Paston Road. 

The decision means specified caravans and lodges can be occupied between January 4 and the end of February, despite a condition attached to a 1992 planning permission requiring the site to be empty during that period.
