The proposal for a three-bedroom home on land behind Southcroft on Yarmouth Road in North Walsham was refused at North Norfolk District Council's planning meeting.  

Planning officers had recommended refusal, saying the extent of rebuilding meant the scheme was not a true conversion. 

Members also raised concerns about the site’s location and reliance on cars. The meeting heard it was about a 450m walk........
