'Last chance' meeting held for north Norfolk village under attack from erosion

The meeting explored options to protect the coastline at Happisburgh and had been billed as the last chance to install sea defences before exploring alternative options including managed realignment.

Around 20 years ago, Malcom Kerby, co-founder of the village's Coastal Action Group, helped spearhead the fundraising efforts which brought the original rock armour to the village.
