This hidden treasure is a Grade II English Heritage-registered garden which spans three acres.
It was established more than 100 years ago in an abandoned chalk quarry just 600 yards from the city centre.
Inside The Plantation Garden, visitors can find a huge Gothic fountain, flower beds, lawns, an Italianate terrace, a ‘medieval’ terrace wall, woodland walkways, a 10 metre long Victorian-style greenhouse and a rustic bridge.

Eaton Park (Image: Hallie Taylor)
Eaton Park is open every day, all year-round, and covers more than 80 acres.
It features formal gardens, including a rose garden, tree-lined paths and a lily pad pond.
There is plenty to keep families amused on a day out, with the park offering a model boat pond, a miniature railway, crazy golf, tennis courts, a speedway track and other activities.
It is also home to a cafe, where visitors can take a break and enjoy a bite to eat.

Kett's Heights (Image: Hallie Taylor)
Kett's Heights has been described as one of Norwich's best-kept secrets.
It is a steeply wooded area and contains the remains of a medieval chapel and 19th-century garden terraces.
This spot is also one of the three strategic viewpoints overlooking Norwich.
In 2015, the Friends of Kett's Heights was established to restore the site so it would be a welcoming space for the community to visit.

It is also known for its original, well-preserved 1930's layout and holds a Green Flag award.

Heigham Park (Image: Sonya Duncan)
Heigham Park, off The Avenues in NR2, opened in 1924.
It was the first purpose-built park of significant size to be created in Norwich.
The original features of the six-acre park that still stand strong include a tennis pavilion, children’s playground enclosure, rockery and encircling flowerbeds.
A coffee van is often parked outside the entrance of the park, offering visitors a drink before a wander through the scenic spot.
