Officers were called to Sadlers Way in North Walsham at 4.45pm on Wednesday to reports that a man had a gun. 

A spokeswoman for Norfolk Constabulary said a man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm.

He was taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning, where he currently remains.

Officers have located and seized a pellet gun.
