Decision made on proposed gypsy traveller site on city outskirts
South Norfolk Council recently refused plans to change the use of amenity land off Chandler Road in Stoke Holy Cross, into a gypsy traveller space.
The plans, submitted by Mr and Mrs Draper, proposed converting the site in order to house one static caravan, one touring caravan and part retrospective ancillary work.
Despite claiming the site would "provide much-needed accommodation to a local gypsy/traveller family" the council rejected the plans.
