Suffolk Highways has said that repairs will be carried out on Belvedere Road, Lowestoft, between 7pm on Wednesday, April 22 and 5am on Thursday, April 23.

The authority said the closure will only be in place for a short time during the advertised hours, and drivers should plan ahead.

Access to homes and businesses will be maintained throughout.

A signed diversion route will be in place, taking traffic via Horn Hill, the A12, Peto Way, the A1144 and the A47.

A Suffolk Highways spokeswoman thanked road users for their patience while the work is completed.
