The Herring Bridge in Great Yarmouth is closed in both directions after the collision.

A Norfolk Constabulary spokeswoman confirmed police and ambulance were called to the scene just before 11.30am.

The cyclist, an adult man, was taken to the James Paget Hospital.

According to the AA Traffic Map, queues are building in the area and South Denes Road is particularly congested.
