The Old Store Bakery and Pantry will open its third location at the start of April, in a newly refurbished barn at the Fring Estate.

Found between Snettisham and Docking, the estate offers luxury self-catering accommodation complete with a heated outdoor pool and tennis courts.

The new cafe will open the estate up to day visitors for the first time, with only overnight guests previously allowed on to the site.

"We are so excited to see The Old Store grow," Ania Wadolowska, brand manager for The Old Store, said.

"We are hoping to open at the start of April and are finalising the last few details now.

"Launching at the Fring Estate will be a challenge for us as we are going to be offering something a little different to our other locations.

"It is going to be great!"

The Old Store was named among Britain's best bakeries in 2025 and expanded into its second site, at Drove Orchards in Thornham, in the summer.

While all of its most popular pastries and bakes will still be available, the cafe will have a slightly different concept from its sister venues.

"We will be a little more retail-focused, with plenty of deli and pantry-style food items available to buy," Ms Wadolowska explained.

"The food will have a bit more of a Scandi and healthy concept, with open sandwiches and acai bowls on offer."

The cafe will open in a "beautifully restored" barn at the estate's entrance, with plenty of terrace space to soak up the sun in the summer.

Staff at The Old Store recognise that being able to open a third site is a huge privilege in the current hospitality climate.

"We count our blessings every day that we can grow and we definitely don't take it for granted," Ms Wadolowska added.

"We really feel the love and support of the local people and our customers from further afield.

"The last few years have been fabulous."
