Car boot sale reveals first date for 2026 season

The Cherry Tree Car Boot Sale will return on Sunday, April 5.

Located just off the B1105 Barsham Rd, the organisers held the last event of 2025 at the end of October, so bargain hunters have had to wait several months for a rummage.

From its relaunch in April, it will run every Sunday, with buyers able to access the site from 7am to 12pm.

All pitches cost £5 for sellers, who can set up from 6am, and buyers can pay 50p per car for parking.

Chris Conroy, who works at the event, said: "We are really excited for it to go ahead.

"We normally expect around 60 to 80 stalls, but could have up to 100.

"The site will be open whatever the weather, unless there are torrential downpours, and we will post on our social media if we have to cancel the event."

The car boot sale is dog-friendly and there are on-site toilets and refreshments.
