An application lodged with South Norfolk Council has revealed the proposals in Keswick, near Norwich, where the new facility could be built across more than 18 acres of land.

A similar project near Diss was put on hold last month amid complaints from locals who feared the battery energy storage system (BESS) would pose a fire risk to the area.

Following a short-lived public consultation, the scheme was paused by its developers.
