Decision looms over plans to turn landmark city site into hundreds of flats
Bosses at hospitality giant Whitbread are expecting Norwich City Council to accept or reject their scheme to redevelop the Nelson Hotel in Prince of Wales Road in July.

Under the proposals, put forward in 2024, Whitbread wants to demolish the building opposite Norwich railway station, which is currently a Premier Inn.
In its place a new hotel will be built along with 75 homes and 491 student flats.
