Christmas tree business owner gets permission for 102-space car park
The parking lot is set for land at High House Farm in Hall Road near Great Melton after Mr Evans-Lombe submitted his plans last year.
Mr Evans-Lombe operates his business from a nearby premises that, according to planning papers, is "no longer fit for purpose".
The approval means Mr Evans-Lombe can add another 94 spaces on the south eastern paddock of the property "to support the function of the adjacent retail unit", bringing the total number of spaces to 102.
The agents for Mr Evans-Lombe wrote in his application: "Predominantly, this would provide purpose-built parking for customers visiting the applicant's Christmas tree sales business."
In addition to approval from South Norfolk Council planners, Mr Evans-Lombe's application was also met with support from people nearby.
One person said: "I believe this will be a very welcome addition to the area and will bring expanded livelihood opportunities and a place for the local community to visit."
