George Freeman, MP for Mid Norfolk, has written to Stephen Kinnock, minister of care, and Dr Ed Garratt at the Norfolk and Suffolk ICB, asking them to support a bid for a new Neighbourhood Health Centre (NHC) to be built in south Dereham.

His letter says the area needs such a facility following the closure last year of Toftwood Surgery, which displaced thousands of patients to two surgeries in other parts of the town.
