A public consultation will take place in Gorleston at the Pavilion Theatre on Tuesday, October 20, from 4pm to 7pm, where people can view and comment on proposals for the former Ocean Rooms site.

The scheme would see the demolition of the former dance hall, which closed in 2024, and the creation of a year-round leisure destination on the seafront.

Last month, Great Yarmouth Borough Council sold the Ocean Room to Ocean Pavilion Ltd, a subsidiary of King's Lynn-based Bespoke Construction Group, for £500,000.
