'Crucial' need for millions to unlock bottleneck junction as pressure mounts
Terry Jermy, Labour MP for South West Norfolk, said he had raised the need for the long-called-for upgrades to Ely rail junction with transport secretary Heidi Alexander and that he was pushing for it to be included in next year's government spending review.
The junction, in Cambridgeshire, is where five rail lines connecting Norwich, Ipswich, Cambridge, Peterborough and King's Lynn meet.
