Thousands of visitors are expected when the 78th annual show gets under way on Bank Holiday Monday, August 31.

Last summer's event attracted a bumper 17,500-strong crowd, and organisers said this year's visitors can expect another "spectacular celebration of rural life".

Agriculture remains at the heart of the event, with extensive livestock competitions, equestrian classes, horticulture and educational exhibits celebrating Norfolk's farming community.

Meanwhile the Main Ring has an "action-packed" programme of displays and competitions.
