Former railway line could become new public footpath... with views of sewage works

Burnham Thorpe Parish Council has launched a bid to register the mile-long route, which leads east across the countryside from Joan Shorts Lane on the edge of Burnham Market, near Wells.

It passes an Anglian Water sewage works, crossing the River Burn before joining with another footpath leading towards Burnham Overy Staithe.

The parish council has submitted evidence forms to Norfolk County Council, which is now deciding whether a public right of way........
