'We're not Benidorm' - Seaside town divided over council's 'masterplan'
Some people living in Hunstanton are up in arms over proposals to pedestrianise the High Street for part of the day, the lack of parking and summer traffic jams.
Others agree with West Norfolk Council's proposals to improve the town centre and Prom.
Their responses to a public consultation exercise carried out by officials in July have been released after an application under the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act.
"A pedestrianised High Street would be a complete business killer," one said. "There is no sense removing existing parking spaces from a small town that depends on day trippers for its trade."
