Norfolk village hit by ‘horrendous’ stench as manure fire burns for 10 days
People in Newton St Faith, as well as neighbouring Horsham, have had to put up with a “horrendous” smell since an arson attack at a nearby turkey farm on September 19.
Around 150,000 litres of water have been used to tackle the blaze, which is thought to be roughly the size of a football pitch, but the fire is still burning more than 10 days on.
