Cranswick, which has food processing facilities in Watton and Eye, has reported a positive start to the financial year, with its revenue up 5.5pc in the 13 weeks to June 27, compared to the same period last year.

The food producer said the rise in revenue has been driven by strong volume growth, selling 8.2pc more product.
