It was Show and Tell Week on the Torquay United Yellow Army Podcast last Thursday, when I pulled out of my bag a jumper that had my two colleagues, Guy Henderson and David Thomas, going all misty eyed.

OK, so it wasn’t officially Show and Tell Week, but Memorabilia Moment might become a thing after I started spring cleaning last week and began to find wonders of Torquay United’s history that were buried deep in a cupboard overflowing with mostly junk.

I have a lot of Torquay United stuff. Ask my wife! And it takes up most of one end of a spare room – which has a built-in double wardrobe.

One day, many of the photos that are housed in there will get scanned and become the finest Torquay United coffee table book ever – but until then, in storage it all stays. But when I found that jumper, I knew I had to reveal it live on the........
