And now, in 2026, they're back in a big way with a special event that's got fans like me buzzing with excitement.

 "The Muppet Show" 50th anniversary special dropped on Disney and ABC on February 4, marking half a century since Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, and the gang first took the stage in their iconic variety show. 

This 32-minute extravaganza is packed with music, comedy, and the signature Muppet madness we've all come to love.

Let me take a moment to get personal here. 

I fell in love with the Muppets thanks to my mom, Growing up, she introduced me to them through the movies—we'd watch classics like The Muppet Movie, The Great Muppet Caper, and The Muppet Christmas Carol together. I'd sit mesmerized by Kermit's journey to Hollywood, laugh at the wild antics in London, or get swept up in the holiday magic of Scrooge's redemption with the Muppets' heartfelt........
