ADVICE: AUNTIE AGNI
I am writing to seek your guidance regarding a difficult situation that affects my career aspirations. I am currently preparing for the Central Superior Services (CSS) examination, hoping to join the Police Service of Pakistan (PSP). However, I was recently diagnosed with irreversible macular degeneration in my right eye, likely caused by a congenital scar that went undetected until recently.
This has resulted in a complete loss of central vision in that eye. Fortunately, my left eye is entirely unaffected, allowing me to perform daily activities without difficulty, including shooting, riding and driving.
Unfortunately, this condition renders me ineligible under the current medical standards for the PSP, despite my aptitude and fitness in all other respects. This news has been highly distressing, and I am finding it difficult to maintain the focus and motivation required for my CSS preparation.
