It seems pretty clear that Kristi Noem wasn’t fired for her needlessly cruel deportation tactics, her mismanagement of the Department of Homeland Security, or her habit of using taxpayer funds to benefit herself but because all of these things started making Donald Trump look bad.

Now we have some more confirmation that Noem’s antics might have been overlooked if she’d done a better job of covering them up or sharing the spoils.
