There are many things in life you know you’ll never do – and hurtling down an icy tunnel on a glorified tea tray may well be top of that list. Curling, on the other hand, would seem like a small step up from brushing up the breadcrumbs on a slippy floor.

The great thing about watching the Winter Olympics is that you don’t have to really know anything about it. After all what are the rules on the Skeleton beyond trying to avoid breaking your neck while flying on a tray at almost 90 miles an hour?
