Sauntering in as if they own the place, these brazen help themselves to stock from a local shop without a care in the world.
The young shoplifters have been caught on camera at Socketts Post Office and Convenience Store, in Low Fell, Gateshead, three times in the space of a week. Wearing dark clothing with hoods pulled up and faces covers they walk in calmly and before taking alcohol, despite knowing they are in full view of CCTV cameras and a member of staff.
And today Shay Bagnall who works at Socketts, which is thought to be one of Gateshead's oldest shops, says the selfish shoplifters are risking putting the store out of business.
The 21-year-old said: "It is disgusting. These lads are only a few years younger than me and they have no thought for people who are just........
