What Does the Future Hold for America?

Then who knows; maybe there will be another president named Trump in 2036

As patriotic Americans, we must live the reality of the present, yet we must also look to the future. God willing, we will have President Trump working his magic for America and the world for the next 33 months. But then what?

I believe a President JD Vance will inherit the strongest most prosperous America in history

When President Ronald Reagan finished his term in office, Vice President George HW Bush was the obvious choice to replace Reagan on the GOP ticket as tradition dictated. However, there was a problem with that choice. Vice President Bush was a product of the life-long career federal bureaucracy, which is only a small step away from being a lifetime career professional politician. He was no Ronald Reagan and as a result had only one term as President of the United States.

If tradition holds, in all likelihood, Vice President JD Vance will be the Republican nominee for President in 2028. Although JD Vance was picked out of the Senate to be Vice President, he wasn’t in Congress long enough (about 18 months including his time running for VP) to have been corrupted by the criminal enterprise that is Congress. That is a good thing. He will not have the baggage and the complications most long serving politicians have hanging around his neck.

It is my hope that “President Vance” will have the wisdom to bring as many of Trump’s administration appointees as possible to his administration. JD Vance and most of Trump’s team are among the most competent collection of talent ever to serve in the America Executive Branch. Keeping as much of that team together as possible would be a winning move in my mind. I believe a President JD Vance will inherit the strongest most prosperous America in history, and all he will need to do is keep it rolling. Then who knows; maybe there will be another president named Trump in 2036.

After a 55 year career as a professional pilot in the military, in law enforcement, in the private sector, and in federal civil service, I am now retired.

In many of these positions I repeatedly took an oath to defend the United States Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic.
