Stop inflicting cruel and unusual punishment on taxpayers by funding luxuries for people on welfare who refuse to carry their own weight;

Back in 2010, remember who the President was then, a 21-year-old woman wrote a letter to the editor of the Waco Tribune-Herald newspaper. The content of her letter has been floating around the internet ever since unattributed. Had this young lady’s common-sense ideas been implemented 25 years ago, much of the fraud we see today would have been impossible. Moreover, in all likelihood, common sense might have spread to other areas where fraud is running rampant in 2026.

Her main points in the internet version for people on government assistance are:

Food stamps should be limited to staples such as beans, rice, cheese, and milk.

Women on government assistance should have mandatory birth control.

Everyone on government assistance should be required to do drug and alcohol testing and remain clean.

Government housing should meet the barracks cleanliness standards which has worked for the military for more than a century.

So, her standard was that;

If a person wants to eat steak, pizza, drink soda, and such, GET A JOB!

If a woman wants children, GET A JOB!

If people want to abuse their bodies with alcohol and drugs, GET A JOB!

If a person wants to have a home, $1,000 phone, X-Box, shoes, $1,000 wheels and tires for their car, or any other luxuries in life, GET A JOB!

For the last 75 years, We the People have allowed the corruptocrats in Washington, DC to keep throwing good money after bad into a system that has been recognized as corrupt for decades. When fraud and corruption are recognized and no one is held accountable, it simply breeds more corruption and fraud. Government wealth distribution (charity) programs provide unlimited opportunities for fraud and should be shut down. Shame on us for continuing to put politicians in office who propagate these fraudulent programs.

In other words, stop inflicting cruel and unusual punishment on taxpayers by funding luxuries for people on welfare who refuse to carry their own weight.

After a 55 year career as a professional pilot in the military, in law enforcement, in the private sector, and in federal civil service, I am now retired.

In many of these positions I repeatedly took an oath to defend the United States Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic.
