The UN’s ‘Widening Trust Deficit’

There are very good reasons why there is a widening trust deficit at the United Nations, which cannot be fixed by rhetoric, symbolic gestures, and mere organizational reforms;

Although the United Nations General Assembly’s annual high-level week is still more than ten days away, featuring endless speeches by heads of state and other world leaders, the 81st session of the General Assembly officially began on September 8th. The new president of the General Assembly, Dr. Khalilur Rahman from Bangladesh, kicked things off with a speech highlighting the importance of closing the “widening trust deficit” plaguing “international institutions and collective action.” His theme for the 81st session is “Restoring Trust, Managing Transformation, a United Nations that Delivers for All.”

There are very good reasons why there is a widening trust deficit at the United Nations, which cannot be fixed by rhetoric, symbolic gestures, and mere organizational reforms.

To start with, the United Nations has grossly abused its immunity status, turning it into egregious impunity for this globalist organization and its senior officials. The United Nations has inverted “immunity” to mean “impunity” from its own wrongdoing.
