Bell: Danielle Smith kicks Naheed Nenshi's butt again, NDP leader doesn't get it

It is all very strange.

Then again, there could always be the possibility the Alberta NDP don’t actually want to win the next election.

How else can the NDP explain they just keep on keeping on, trudging along the opposition trial armed with the same old script and giving us no indication they are learning anything from what the ugly political numbers are telling them.

One recent poll from Leger has the Nenshi NDP 17 points down.

A new nosecount for CBC done by noted Alberta pollster Janet Brown of Janet Brown Opinion Research has the NDP down 13 points.

Brown knows how to take the pulse of the people.

In battleground Calgary, Premier Danielle Smith’s UCP are up by double digits.

In the NDP fortress of Edmonton, the party is still ahead of Smith’s UCP but only by seven points and the NDP won every single legislature seat in Edmonton last election.

Outside Calgary and Edmonton, as expected, the UCP crushes Nenshi and the NDP.

The bottom line. In an election today the UCP under Smith would win nine more legislature seats, the NDP under Nenshi would lose nine.

More Albertans are very impressed........
