Currently, Parliament is considering one of the biggest changes to the law in a generation. The Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill is seeking to legalise assisted dying for those that are terminally ill, an issue which has not been debated in Parliament for over 10 years, says Sarah Green, the Liberal Democrat MP for Chesham and Amersham.
