Report finds 46% of Canadian gen Z professionals planning to look for new job by end of 2026

Nearly half (46 per cent) of Canadian generation Z professionals say they plan to look for a new job by the end of 2026, with higher pay, stronger benefits and greater flexibility among the factors driving their searches, according to a new report by Robert Half Canada.

The report, based on two surveys of more than 300 gen Z professionals, found 41 per cent believe changing employers could offer greater earning potential, while 51 per cent of those looking for a new job said they want stronger perks and benefits and 44 per cent said they’re seeking greater career advancement opportunities.
