Klein: Patriotism means building Canada, not blaming America
There is a difference between being proud of Canada and being angry at the United States. Right now, too many politicians and commentators are blurring that line.
We are hearing rhetoric that frames trade disputes and tariffs as proof that America is the problem and that hostility toward our closest neighbour is somehow patriotic. It is not. It is reaction. And reaction is not a strategy.
