The joint U.S.-Israeli air campaign against Iran represents a genuine opportunity for long-term Middle Eastern stability. The early results are good.

The hunt for Saddam Hussein and other top regime figures took many months back in 2003. In so doing, this campaign is re-establishing the deterrent credibility of American military power.
