MTG wants you to think she's changed. I need more than an apology.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has changed. At least, that’s what she wants you to think.
The controversial Georgia congresswoman went on CNN’s “State of the Union” on Nov. 16 to talk to Dana Bash about her recent rift with President Donald Trump, who called her a “traitor” over the weekend after she criticized his administration’s handling of files related to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
“I would like to say, humbly, I’m sorry for taking part in the toxic politics; it’s very bad for our country,” Greene said. “It’s been something I’ve thought about a lot, especially since Charlie Kirk was assassinated.”
In the wake of her nationally televised apology and recent remarks against the Trump administration, Democrats have been surprisingly willing to extend an olive branch.
