I must admit it is quite disconcerting to hear people rant about a "blue wave" coming in November. Yes, Republicans have lost two special elections in state-level races, one in Texas, a state senate race in January, and another recently, a state house race in Palm Beach County, Florida. Leftists love to point to this as a sign of their momentum, but I would beg to differ. It only goes to evidence the lack of special election engagement by Republicans in overwhelmingly Republican electoral districts. It is more an indicator of the Republican lack of focus and get-out-the-vote efforts than a bellwether for leftists.

For me, this comes down to something very simple to message: the fact that American leftists have the blood of American citizens on their hands...and they do not care. How many times have we seen the delusional leftists protest at congressional hearings, holding up blood on their hands? They have found a certain affinity for Islamic terrorists and jihadists, like Hamas in Gaza. But, truthfully, the blood-stained hands that they do have are those of our very own people.

Just recently, we got the news about another horrific attack against a young American woman by an illegal immigrant. Eighteen-year-old Sheridan Gorman, a Loyola University-Chicago student, was allegedly shot in the head by a criminal illegal immigrant from Venezuela while she and her friends were out walking. And how did Chicago Alderwoman Maria Hadden respond? By saying that Sheridan was "in the wrong place at the wrong time" and that she probably "startled" the criminal illegal immigrant who had no other recourse than to shoot her in the head and flee. Now, Alderwoman Hadden has apologized, but only due to the immense outrage that her........
