In a surprise decision, suspended Toronto Police Const. Timothy Barnhardt has lost his bid for bail — making him the only one of the seven alleged dirty cops who remains in custody following this week’s bombshell corruption sweep.
Following a lengthy special bail hearing at the 10 Armoury courthouse Friday in downtown Toronto, Justice of the Peace Bentley Springer delivered his brief decision at the end of the day.
The reasons are covered by a standard publication ban.
