Syracuse goalie Allie Kelley of East Berne achieves huge milestone

Syracuse women's hockey goalie Allie Kelley holds up the game puck after setting the NCAA Division I saves record during the team's 1-0 overtime loss to Penn State. Her 41-save performance was history-making for the goalie from East Berne, who broke the record of career saves set by Lovisa Selander of RPI in 2019. Kelley, a graduate student, has 4,176 saves in her career, compiled while playing at Quinnipiac, St. Anselm and Syracuse.

Syracuse Orange hockey goalie Allie Kelley once again kept her team in the game Friday night, facing a barrage of shots in a heartbreaking 1-0 overtime loss to league-leading Penn State at Tennity Ice Pavilion in Syracuse.
