No, I do not want to think it, let alone say it. But more and more, I think Israelis are committing national suicide. Of course, I am far away and see things from a distance, and if you are in the eye of the storm, things might look different. But distance sometimes gives clarity that those living inside constant pressure cannot always see.

Let me be blunt and honest. Israel has every right to exist. Israel has every right to defend itself. Israel has every right to stop terrorism, to protect its citizens, and to survive in a region where too many still dream openly of wiping it off the map. Those are facts. But having rights does not mean every decision is smart. Strength without wisdom becomes self sabotage.

Let us start with the Gaza flotilla.

We all know many of these activists are not truly caring for the so called Palestinians. Many of them want headlines, chaos, provocation, and images they can use to demonize Israel. They bait Israel because they know Israel often reacts exactly how they hope.

So Israel stops them near Crete and suddenly the world is screaming again about brutality, genocide, apartheid, cruelty. Why on earth did Israeli security agencies and the government think this was the best option?

There was another choice. A smarter choice.

Send an official statement through Greek law enforcement. State clearly........
